Entering his 29th year of coaching, Coleman arrives at Grace as a cornerstone leader in the program’s continued rise—bringing unmatched experience, elite recruiting networks, and a championship-caliber mindset.

 

Widely regarded across the West Coast as one of the most influential talent developers in the game, Coleman has built a career defined by impact, longevity, and results. His ability to identify, recruit, and develop high-level student-athletes has shaped programs at every level, producing collegiate standouts and professional-caliber players while earning deep respect throughout the basketball community.

 

Most recently, Coleman served in a leadership role at Nobel University, where he worked alongside Les Bean in building a rapidly emerging athletic department. As Associate Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director, he played a critical role in establishing culture, elevating recruiting standards, and helping lay the foundation for long-term competitive success. His presence helped accelerate the program’s identity as a rising force in collegiate athletics.

 

Now reunited at Grace University, Coleman steps into a pivotal dual role—helping guide the men’s basketball program while also contributing to the strategic leadership of the athletic department.
